We provide design, drawings, material selections, and project management and work in tandem with our team of builders, cabinetmakers and material vendors who share our commitment to quality and excellence. 01. PROJECT KICKOFF
DEFINING THE VISION
The first step is for us to sit together and discuss how and why you want to transform your space. We will cover the scope of the project in detail and discuss budget, style preferences, and timeline. We will also discuss the long term and short term goals for your home and your lifestyle so we can formulate and execute a design plan that suits you and your family's needs. Because we consider this a pre-project meeting, there is a fee for the consultation which we will discuss during our initial discovery call.
After the consultation, we will provide you with a proposal outlining our full scope of design services and associated fees so that you are aware of the investment before making a final commitment.
02. CONCEPT DESIGN
CREATING THE VISION
Next, we roll up our sleeves and get to work, sketching, designing and problem solving until the most elegant design solution reveals itself. We will take measurements, review inspiration images, and document existing items that you want to incorporate in your new spaces. At the concept design meeting, we will present you with custom design concepts for all of your spaces, we will review layout options and you'll approve direction.
The concept design is big picture - color stories, material types, types of furniture, style decisions, adjacencies and more. Once we’re sure we’re in alignment, we will refine the design to prepare for our detailed design presentation.
03. Detailed Design
BRINGING THE VISION TO LIFE
Once we’ve solidified the design concept, we will present curated options for furniture, fixtures & finishes in addition to plans, elevations and renderings. We will also bring samples of materials and cuts of fixtures so that you can visualize your space just as we see it. We hope you’ll love everything we choose, but there are always tweaks so revisions are built-in to the process.
Following the detailed design presentation and any requested revisions, you'll be presented with an itemized proposal including specifications and pricing. This is the final step before our plans are put into action.
04. PROCUREMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
ORDERING AND TRACKING
With design plans approved, we finalize construction documents and begin purchasing furniture and accessories. We work with the contractor, architect, vendors, and installers to put all the pieces in place. Our team will track and coordinate all freight, shipments and deliveries and if items arrive broken or incorrect, we will handle everything and make it right. Because we understand how stressful and disruptive this process can be, we front load the planning and decision making so that this step goes as smoothly as possible.
05. INSTALLATION
PULLING IT ALL TOGETHER
Once all of you items are received at our warehouse we will schedule and manage your installation. Our trusted installers and white-glove delivery team will help us handle all the details. Accessories and final styling complete your new space.
